Printing on large Concrete Beams

Definition of Task

concrete beams of 160 meters in length have to be marked with company name and production dates while cut into different lengths of 2 to 10 meters

printing and cutting of the concrete beams have to take place at the same time under heavy vibrations
the coding system is mounted on a transportation unit to mark all 10 beams in one work cycle
print head has to be moved on a x-y axis (40 m/min.)
system has to operate under very dusty, dirty andhumid ambient conditions, temperature range from minus 5°C to plus 35°C
the used ink has to be resistant against sunlight, because the beams are stored outdoors

well legible, UV-resistant ink to store the beams outdoors, where print is exposed to sunlight
automatic change of print direction per digital I/O
reliable system to work under heavy vibrations, dirt, humidity and an extreme temperature range
