Definition of Task

paper bags have to be marked after being properly positioned on a conveyor before they pass the print head

paper bags filled with tile adhesive-cement or self levelling compound are positioned on a conveyor and pass the print head at a speed of approximately 45 m/min. (145 feet/min.)
a special code containing the production date, a counter number as well as the batch number for traceability is printed on the paper bags
the print image is at a height of 13 mm (0.5 inch)
the environment is extremely dusty and the temperatures vary according to the change of season and range between -5° and +40° Celsius (+23° and +104° Fahrenheit)

full traceability of each bag in case of complaints by distinct batch marking
robust and reliable printing system to operate under severe environmental conditions
