Marking of Paper Bags
with Surface Sealing

Definition of Task

paper bags, sealed with a thin layer of wax for the protection from humidity, are marked with a double line print at a text height of 3 mm for each line
printing information: product data, production date and time
two differently large bags for 2 kg and 5 kg of seam filler compound have to be marked
the bags are transported on 2 conveyor belt lines and pass the print head with a speed of approx. 15 m/min.
the coding process takes place under extreme dusty environmental conditions and temperatures that vary according to the change of season in a production hall with almost no heating
after the marking 8 bags are combined and driven through a shrinking hood machine in which the plastic hoods aaround the unit are shrunk at a temperature up to 170 degrees Celsius

even at a temperature of up to 170 degrees Celsius the wax mark is not smeared and leaves no unwanted imprint on the shrinking hood either
even if the substantially hotter foil welding seam should directly rest upon the wax marking, the print is very well legible
