Definition of Task
- Printing of text and logos on welded steel pipeline tubes (diameter 500 to 1400 mm, length up to 12 m)
Special Product Specification
- Coding on both ends of steel tube with up to 15 lines of text
- Printing inside and outside the tube at the same time
- Fully automated application with 2 KUKA robots on both sides of tube, each holding two REA-JET DOD marking heads on two arms
- Communication to robot controller to transmit print message to REA system
- Automatic adjustment (slanting) of print head to generate various print heights (20 to 50 mm)
- Printing commences also in reverse mode while robot arm turns left/right inside and into the tube
- Printing commences also in reverse mode while robot arm turns left/right inside and into the tubeSpeed of print head moved by robot arm: up to 180 m/min.
- Number of tubes: 1 tube every 2 minutes
- Dirty ambient conditions

- Ink supply unit: 4x TVPP 2L
