Printing on porous cement blocks
Definition of Task
- Porous cement blocks are printed while they are still moist
- Afterwards they are placed into an autoclave at approx. 200 degrees Celsius at a steam pressure of 18 Bar where they are “baked” for up to 12 hours
Special Product Specification
- The printing occurs within an environment which is very dusty and is in two lines having a total print height of 67 mm
- Besides the product description, the manufacturing date and time are also printed
- The porous cement blocks are transported on a conveyor belt and pass by the print head at a speed of approx. 20 m/min

Advantages of the REA JET Solution
- Good readable coding is guaranteed by using a special type of micro-pigmented-ink which can withstand the high oven temperatures, holds well on the porous surface and still gives a rich contrast
